The Huichol region is housed in one of the most isolated areas of Mexico. Composed of 4 states: Jalisco, Nayarit, Zacatecas and Durango.
The Huichol villages belong to different municipalities, and their communities are far scattered. The Huichol territory covers almost 10,000 km2.
Some of its inhabitants work in agriculture, livestock, and the beautiful elaboration of handicrafts.
